We are in the process of updating and converting this website to another domain, the new location. Once everything is setup this domain will be forwarded to the new domain.
As part of the update we have added a social network section for those interested in Asia, as well as those in Asia that wish to meet people from other countries.

A result of the devastating oil pipeline spill in Dalian. More care needs to be taken to insure that our lives and environment is not totally destroyed. This spill in just a small fraction of whats going on in the Golf of Mexico with the US offshore drilling program.
Dalian is located in the North East part of China between Beijing and Korea.

[ 2010-07-27] A small tornado touched down in the Ocean outside of Shenzhen this past week. This has not happened often and is a sight when it happens.
Shenzhen is located just north of Hong Kong, in the South East province of China called Guangdong.

Today marks this years Dragon Boat Festival. This festival is celebrated though out China, its generally a three day holiday, however the real holiday is just one day. Companies that give staff three days off, are required to make up the days off by usually working the weekend or usual days off just before the holiday.

Its a new year for the Chinese New Years (CNY) this will happen Feb. 13th, and will last for 7 days, ending Feb. 20th. This will be the year of the Tiger.

The Shenzhen metro (Shenzhen Metro Company LTD. as the owner/operator) is expanding at a fast rate since it first came online end of 2004 on December 28, 2004.

Shenzhen Metro Plan
Shenshen was the 5th city in China to get a metro system. The metro system first opened with two lines (1 and 4) that had 19 stations covering a total of 21.8 km.
There has been constant development and expansion of the metro line, there will be expansion as well as additional lines added over the next few years. Once all lines are completed in 2011 the Shenzhen Metro system will cover 177 km.

There has not been any major change in the visa processing for Chinese visas, those that need a short visa for Shenzhen can apply for a 5 day visa thats valid for Shenzhen only at the Louhu boarder, takes only about 20-40 min and costs 160 RMB.
